May’s Stampers 10 Projects

Our May Stampers 10 get together is Wednesday, the 25th.  With father's day coming up, I was thinking something masculine.  And what better than The Open Sea Stamp set and the Nautical Expedition DSP from the Summer Mini Catalog.  The bag is made with the Newsprint DSP from the Idea Book and Catalog. 

I also decided to make some 3-D projects rather than just cards.  The bag is from a tutorial I saw last year on Stampin' With Di. The gift box was from another tutorial, that I saw last year at www.itstimetostamp.blogspot.com . 

 

 

I used the Faux Metal technique to emboss the anchor.  

 

 

 

 

I inked the earth stamp with VersaMark and then Not Quite Navy and embossed with clear embossing powder.
