August Christmas Crank
Isn't this card adorable! I received this design from Karen Mickel (www.sukaren.stampinup.net) at my last Ronald McDonald House Charties Team Meeting. She made it as a 4 1/4" by 4 1/4" card.
I wanted to include it in my Christmas Crank, so I made it a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", added the ribbon and the Tiny Tags sentiment and punch. The inside message is from Many Merry Messages – "Joy expressed, Love shared, a Miracle celebrated". And of course there's another little penguin.
This card and three others will be done at the Christmas Crank to be held next Wednesday, August 17th at palcrafts. If you would like to attend, please be sure to RSVP to palcrafts@att.net or 321-482-0136 All the details about this class, as well as all my others, are available at www.pamliles.stampinup.net . Hope you can join us! And Happy Stampin'!
A cute little ornament
My friend Karen shared with me a link she found for these super easy and adorable Christmas ornaments. They take about 5 minutes to make and only half a sheet of 12×12 paper. For this ornament, I used Stampin' Up! Specialty Designer Series Paper – Candy Cane Christmas, featured in our new Holiday Mini. This catalog is availble for ordering from beginning September 1st. If you have not received your Holiday Mini Catalog in the mail, please contact me and I'll get one to you.
A Cardinal Christmas
It's only 136 days to Christmas!!
Our second Christmas Card class will be the last Saturday of August (see my Events Calendar page for specifics).
Again, we'll be making 8 cards – 2 each of four designs. One of the cards we'll make features the A Cardinal Christmas Stamp Set, the new Vintage Wallpsper Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and the adorable new Basic Pearl Jewels.
If you missed the first Christmas Card Class in July – no worries. Kits will be available so that by the end of November, you too can have 40 beautiful handmade Christmas cards. Just schedule a time – perhaps during an Open Table Night – and complete the cards.
